Bio

Craig Price is Director of Community Education and Wellness at The Naples Players. He trained and has performed at The Second City Chicago, IO Theatre in Chicago, ComedySportz of Denver and on the road as a Stand-Up Comedian. When Craig landed in Naples, he became the Youth Theatre Director for the Centers for the Arts of Bonita Springs for 6 years where he enjoyed directing shows and teaching improv and acting for kids and adults. He also performed with Bonita City Improv and Directed the Youth Improv Program. During this time, he served as the Assistant Director for the Curious Kids TV show on WGCU, a PBS affiliate, where they won a Telly Award for Children’s Programming.  Craig started his tenure with TNP as an actor and a teacher in the Kidz Act Program and is now performing with Stage 2 Improv and running the wellness program where he designs and teaches classes for kids and adults with developmental disabilities, as well as classes for all ages and abilities. Craig’s classes focus on teaching communication techniques through improv games. Students young and old have found that the fun and laughter in Craig’s classes have helped them in many areas of their life at home, work, and school. Craig was also a care partner for his stepmother and stepfather who both went through their dementia journey. Craig started teaching improv techniques many years ago to his parents to show how to creatively communicate with their loved ones living with brain change.
